RJ Lemus is an associate attorney at Maier Gutierrez & Associates, where his practice focuses on personal injury law, including motor vehicle accidents and premises liability, as well as business litigation and appellate matters. Licensed in Nevada and Utah, RJ is committed to upholding the firm’s mission of advocating for injured clients and helping them obtain the justice they deserve.

RJ graduated magna cum laude from UNLV’s Boyd School of Law, where he served as an Editor for the Nevada Law Journal and was actively involved in the Society of Advocates. He also competed on the Moot Court and Client Counseling teams. In addition to his Juris Doctor, RJ holds a Master of Business Administration from UNLV’s Lee Business School. Before joining the firm, RJ served as a judicial law clerk at the Supreme Court of Nevada, gaining valuable experience in appellate law.

A proud U.S. Navy veteran, RJ spent eight years aboard the USS Miami submarine as a nuclear reactor operator. He later transitioned to a career as a field engineer before pursuing his passion for law. Born and raised in Las Vegas, RJ is a devoted fan of all local sports, particularly the Vegas Golden Knights. In his free time, he enjoys the company of his golden retriever, Cannon, who is always dressed in scarlet and grey.
