PARTNER
Danielle Barraza is a partner with Maier Gutierrez & Associates. Her practice focuses on civil litigation and employment law in federal and state courts, as well as business, real estate and personal injury matters.
During law school, Danielle was a senior staffer for the Nevada Law Journal. She also served as a law clerk for the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada’s domestic violence unit, providing legal assistance to domestic abuse victims going through divorce or child custody proceedings.
While studying for her undergraduate degree, Danielle interned for the Assembly Judicial Committee at the 76th (2011) Session of the Nevada State Legislature. She gained tremendous insight into the process of law-making and the measures affecting justice courts, civil practice, and procedure.
“I wanted to be an attorney since I was 12 years old,” she says, “when I saw strong female attorneys on TV.” Danielle likes the closure she can bring to her clients at the end of a case.
As a Boyd Law School alumna, she enjoys mentoring students interested in employment law. Danielle’s hobbies include playing tennis, trying new restaurants, traveling, and learning new languages. She is also a Vegas Golden Knights fan.
