Make sure your vote counts!

Make sure your vote counts!

Election Day is fast-approaching on Tuesday November 3 and Team MGA wants to be a resource for you during this historic election!

The right to vote is one we do not take for granted, yet this year will be different because of the pandemic and new voting legislation. Here are some items to keep in mind:

• Mail ballots: In Clark County, mail ballots will be sent out on October 10. You can view ballot mailing dates for all Nevada counties here. If you do not receive your ballot in the mail within one week of your county’s mailing date, you will need to contact your county election office to notify them of the problem.

• Ballots can be filled out and returned immediately once they are received. You do not have to wait until a certain date closer to Election Day to mail your ballot.

• Ballots can be returned by mail using the prepaid postage ballot return envelope. If you plan to mail your ballot, we encourage you to mail it as early as possible to account for any delays with the postal service. In order to be counted, ballots returned by mail must be postmarked no later than November 3.

• Ballots can also be returned in person at a ballot drop-off location. Ballots returned at a drop-off location must be dropped off prior to 7:00 p.m. on November 3. A list of all ballot drop-off locations by county can be found here.

• Election Day voting: This year, assigned polling places have been replaced by vote centers. As a voter, you can choose where to vote, regardless of your address or precinct. To learn more about Election Day voting in Clark County, please click here.

• Same-day registration: The Nevada Secretary of State’s office provides the following details for voter registration: “After October 6th, eligible individuals can still register to vote, either online or at a polling place during early voting or Election Day, but doing so requires a Nevada driver’s license or ID card issued by the DMV.”

As our team fights daily for the rights of our fellow citizens in Nevada’s courthouses, we are often asked about those who we endorse for the non-partisan judicial races on the ballot. Please see below for those judges and judicial candidates who we are supporting in this election:
